Nina Pierpont and several other scientists also show that living people can develop the described symptoms of wind turbine syndrome. Individual residents, as well as the mink farmer Kay Bank Olesen had to leave their homes because they could not stand the strain any longer. And his farm cannot be sold at all under these conditions. Often, tinnitus and sleep disorders are noticeable. And there are more symptoms possible coming also in combinations:

It has long been known that windmills are highly dangerous for birds such as the red kite and bats. After several windmill accidents at the turn of the year 2016/17, it now turns out that significant parts of wind turbines up to 15 years old have never been examined by experts (such as TÜV). Obviously there are massive safety problems in the plants, some of them 200 meters high, so that they can fall over at any time and fall on roads and railways. Death is circling over the meadows.

But let's see the matter step by step: at the beginning of the year, a 100-meter-high wind turbine of a wind farm of Municipal Cleaning Sector in Hamburg was flipping over just like this, this was in the district New Wulmstorf on an old deposit site. With the "good energies", there is no matter about anything. Here everyone can obviously make or omit what he wants.

We read in the press release (link (German)) of the Hamburg city cleaning sector about the causes of the accident that defective blade bearings have led to tipping of the plant: "The blade bearings are responsible for the adjustment of the rotor blades and must be able to move reliably at higher wind speeds to save the rotor blades fast from the wind with turning movements reducing the rotor's speed. This operation did not work on the day of the accident apparently due to material damage within the blade bearings. The much too high rotational speed could not be captured by the emergency brake. The unplanned high charge of the tower then led to the demolition of the tower. The condition of the leaf bearings became visible only through the complete disassembly. The control of these bearings was not part of the regular maintenance, so this material damage was not recognizable. "

One has to read this sentence twice: A "control of these bearings was not part of the regular maintenance, so that these material damages were not recognizable". In other words, during the 15 years that this bird shredder machine was there, its rotor bearings have never been examined, and probably other important parts not either.

About 26,000 wind turbines are in [Merkel's GDR] Germany. An interview in the magazine "Renewable Energies" with Benjamin Krüger (link (German)) from the company Gepa is proving that documentation and security obligation are foreign words in this energy sector. But during the life time of a wind turbine, the frequencies of the different parts can change - for example by defects on the foundation, by defects on the vibration damper, by deformations, or by the exchange of complete modules of the plant.

When do problems occur?

The critical rating of this information provokes the detection of a series of false statements and deceptions. For most readers, however, it is difficult to detect, because between there is a constant change between the words terra, gig, megawatt and kilowatt.

False statements

Let's start with the assessment of power production. For off-shore installations 4,500 full-load hours per year are indicated. However, dividing the amount of electricity produced per year by the installed capacity, it comes only to just under 3,000 full load hours. A clear fake figure.

[Arkona wind park: only 2.2 gigawatts produced in reality - instead of 6.4 gigawatts capacity]

The statement that "the installed capacity of 6.4 gigawatts corresponds to 6 to 7 large nuclear or coal-fired power plants" is correct, based on the installed capacity. But the off-shore wind generators, on average, only produce 2.2 gigawatts, while the power plants deliver their installed capacity throughout the year. The wind generators can not replace power plants. They have to work when there is no wind blowing. The statement is a big fake.

[Arkona wind park: statistics indicate 2 days without wind - leaving out all days with only little wind and almost NO power production]

This also counts for the statement that off-shore installations would generate electricity 363 days a year. The quick reader believes wind power from the sea is available all year round. That is a mistake. Apart from the two windless days listed in the year, there are still many weeks with weak winds, which hardly contribute to power generation, because the power decreases with the third potency of the wind speed. So there are many days when there is hardly any electricity from the sea. Also here is deceived.

It is claimed that electricity from the Arkona wind farm can supply 400,000 households with electricity. That's wrong. When the wind is not blowing, not a single household can be provided.

Costs are reduced and ignored - [reality: high costs of offshore wind parks]

The investment cost for off-shore electricity should now be less than 10 cents per kilowatt hour. The new wind farm Arkona obviously does not belong to it. If one calculates only 10 per cent of the investment costs as annual costs for capital service, enterprise and maintenance and divides the annual costs by the generated electricity quantity, the kilowatt hour costs more than 10 cent. The feed-in tariff according to the Renewable Energies Act (Erneuerbare Energie-Gesetz - EEG) in the first eight years is 19 cents per kilowatt hour. This is 6 times the production costs of electricity from domestic lignite.

Then there are the costs of transport on land. The electricity must be transformed on a trans-shipment platform and then routed to shore via a submarine cable to the substation. The costs for this are hidden in the grid fees, because according to the law the operators of the transmission grids are obliged to connect the off-shore wind farms. The part of grid charges for electricity costs is now higher than the EEG surcharge, the electricity production costs or VAT. And with every new fake power plant this will rise.

According to my information, the transport of off-shore electricity on land costs about 5 cents per kilowatt hour. By omitting the cable costs from the offshore wind park to the coast the fraud is continuing. Off-shore electricity costs at least 15 cents per kilowatt hour when it reaches the German electricity grid.

This fake power is only second-class power (!!!)

But it is also a fraud to compare this irregular fake power with regular power plant power. In both cases, though, electrons flow. However, the controllable power plants supply the electricity as needed, while wind and solar power depend on the weather conditions. Sometimes there is too much, sometimes there is not enough. In the first case, systems must be shut down or the surplus electricity must be disposed of at a charge, so as not to overload the network. In the second case, we need conventional power plants that ensure the power requirement. The wind-driven wind and solar power is secondary and requires a lot of expensive control power from conventional power plants.

The market value of fake power is therefore significantly lower than power plant electricity. This also remains the case if the costs for power plant electricity are driven up by ever higher levies on carbon dioxide in order to make fake power marketable and thus abolish the EEG levy. With unreliable fake power, a stable power grid can not be built. This requires a base load of at least 45 percent of the electricity from the large power plants that are the clock for frequency and phase in the grid. It is a delusion to want to provide Germany with 60 or even 80 percent fake power safely and inexpensively. Even corresponding decisions of the German Parliament "Bundestag" do not change this. Physics will not be guided by political decisions.

Recognize fake information - [school system is failing and copying the Merkel GDR government's propaganda fake information]

It does not do anything to ban fake messages. They will reoccur again and again, may be unintentionally, because a hoax was not detected, or deliberately, to manipulate the public opinion in a desired direction, as it's currently the case for energy policy. Everybody has to constantly check with common sense, the basic types of calculation and a few physical fundamentals, whether reports are credible or contain fake reports. It costs a bit of effort, but it's worth it.

This should be taught and practiced in schools. Unfortunately, this is often not the case. Many teachers and educators indoctrinate children with frightening visions of the future without giving them the tools to make their own objective assessment. The current demonstrations "Fridays for Future" have sensitized the students to the energy transition and climate protection. It is a good opportunity to question the demands factually and objectively in the school.

If readers are educated detecting the frauds and fakes, only then the so-called quality media will endeavor to re-investigate more carefully, rather than simply copying fake reports as outlined in this review.>

[Rural population is split and only few by wind power plants]

Let's first talk about the effects of the massive expansion of wind power on land. The most affected rural population in the country is relatively small in population, unequally affected locally and often disunited by wind energy investments. Thus, they are not (yet) a decisive factor in the electorate.

Infrasound

The effects on the residents go beyond the familiar phenomena such as shadows, disco effects and audible noise. They are rather annoying, not harmful side effects, with which one could somehow arrange. The much stronger and damaging effect on health is the effect of low-frequency sound, the so-called infrasound. The growth of the plants and the increasing length of the rotor blades increase the emissions of this sound spectrum. Each passage of a rotor blade in front of the tower creates a back pressure surge on the rotor blade, causing it to vibrate. The longer the rotor blade, the larger the wavelength at which it vibrates. Frequencies below 20 hertz (oscillations per second) also provoke wavelengths below 20 meters. This sound is no longer audible, but transmits energy.

Similar things are already known from low audible frequencies, such as when a neighbor turns up his stereo system in the apartment next but one, and as a result the basses penetrate several walls, but not the high tones.

[Infrasound: Affected people sleep in the basement]

The wavelengths of infrasound are in the range of building dimensions, so that a building does no longer protect the people inside, due to the resonances and even within the building the inaudible energy is transmitted. For years, the wind industry succeeded in keeping the subject of infrasound medially small and denying it. Meanwhile, the nationwide expansion has progressed so far that the number of people affected at home and abroad results in a sufficiently large number of affected groups, which has decided to resist. There are also first scientific findings. Medially displaced for the first time, the German TV station ZDF in November 2018 first addressed the effects of infrasound within the series "planet e" (video link YouTube) and even illuminated the questionable role of the Federal Environmental Agency.

There is only one real protection against the infrasound of wind turbines - no wind.

Loss of value of real estate by wind turbines

In addition to health damages, there is another factor damaging the residents: the lost of value of real estate in rural areas (link (German)). Between seven and 23 percent are stated in various publications. Profits of wind power operators are connected with the cold expropriation of local residents. How science works: Someone claims to know something and everyone else’s job is to put them on the spot by interrogating every part of their claim.

I don’t have the full facts at hand to falsify Benjamin Napier’s graphic (below), but I have found information at: http://www.aweo.org/faq.html, which I think is helpful in evaluating his claims.

To begin with, the claim that the steel in a 2MW wind turbine masses 260 tons is supported independently. The Danish-built 1.8MW Vestas V90, for example – nacelle, blades, and tower – weighs 267 tons. (Actually, the 2MW Gamesa G87 from Spain requires 334 tons of steel!)

So, immediately, we have at least partial corroboration of Mr Napier’s graphic. Only partial, but a good start. And it implies the rest of the graphic may also be based on facts.

The foundations of these massive structures need to be considered as well. The reference site I’ve provided says: “The base of the steel tower is anchored in a platform of more than a thousand tons of concrete and steel rebar, 30 to 50 feet across and anywhere from 6 to 30 feet deep. Pylons may be driven down farther to help anchor the platform.”
The materials for this have to be mined, processed and transported to the site also. And since hydrocarbons (fossil fuels) are used in every part of that process, we have to include that cost in the overall bill for each wind turbine.

And there are other big costs which most people never stop to consider:-

1) First of all, new roads have to be built, or existing ones need to be extensively “upgraded.” It requires more than an old dirt logging track to get a 150-ft blade, a 70-ton nacelle, or the huge crane needed to put it all together, up a mountain. The road needs to be wide, straight, and very strong.

2) Expensive land clearing (an environmental issue in itself) is another issue – the 1.8MW Vestas V90 needs 111 unobstructed acres around it for best performance.

3) Miles of security fencing are required – access to the area around the turbines must be strictly limited because of physical danger.

4) A facility may also require a new substation or two, as well as new transmission lines. In some cases, the new power lines could be hundreds of miles long.

5) Neodymium, a rare-earth element, is used in every wind turbine. On average, 1 ton of the metal is needed for every 1MW of wind turbine electricity output. The current price of pure neodymium oxide is around $US100,000 per ton and rising. Its mining and refining are heavily dependent on coal-fired power – mainly in the Chinese region called Baotou, where the-thirds of the world’s rare-earth elements are produced at hideous environmental cost. 6) Fossil-fuel power stations provide base-load power. Wind turbines do not. So back-up fossil-fuel power stations must be kept ticking over for the frequent occasions on which wind (and solar) fail to deliver.

The wild swings in wind-turbine output mean the spinning base-load plants, kept constantly at the ready, must be brought in and out of production. These plants therefore continue to burn their fossil fuel. And the continual fluctuations of wind power add enormously to the cost and inefficiency of that burning.

7) Two more problems, usually overlooked by wind farm advocates, involve the high cost of wind turbine maintenance – especially the offshore units, which are subject to swift degradation in the salty marine environment – and the cost of the decommissioning of wind farms at the end of their 20-year lifespan.

It’s difficult to get figures for maintenance, since the wind farm lobbyists are reluctant to publish that information. But the fact that many of the larger turbines have helicopter landing pads on their nacelles gives us some idea of the problem and the expense involved.

Decommissioning of 20-year-old turbines is a burgeoning problem in Germany, which was among the first countries to embrace wind-power. Over 7000 of their units are due for dismantling next year at a cost of €30,000 each. Offshore units will cost vastly more to dismantle, since their towers must be detached from the sea floor and all components brought ashore for disposal.

And what of the disposal costs themselves?

What do you do with millions of tons of rusted steel blades … melt them down? What with? … Fossil-fuel energy?

What about the cost of disposing of millions of gallons of high-pressure gear oil used in the gearboxes? What about the cost of recycling expensive rare-earth metals from the electrical systems?

What about the cost of building and erecting the new or reconditioned turbines?

And the above is not necessarily an exhaustive list.

The total costs involved in the wind energy experiment are colossal and are mostly kept low-key by vested interests.

The price of the electricity produced MUST include the amortization of ALL these costs over the complete life of the wind farms to obtain a fair comparison.

If we include all these costs honestly, it seems more than likely that Benjamin Napier’s graphic is entirely plausible.
