9. Holiday always on the same spot can be very boring for children - camping is "exciting"

Holidays are like a long excursion

Holiday locations are for children like an excursion, but not only an excursion of one or two days, but it's an excursion of one, two or even more weeks. There is the same like for excursions in general: The intellectual horizon is extended by the second domicile, the child has to manage the new life conditions, a new landscape can be experienced, also a new climate is experienced, there are other neighbors, and perhaps there is also other food and music and even another fauna.

One time during the childhood and one time during youth the sea should be visited giving the children the feeling of the big waves and of the big water.

All this is very exciting for the children, and also the trip to there can be managed in a positive way. But a long trip on the motorway is the most boring for children when there is no adult person on the back seat knowing much about games to play in a car. A trip in a train offers more possibilities, above all when there is a children compartment with a little playground as it is arranged in some trains of Swiss railway company (SBB).

Ah well, yes: Adult persons traveling alone should not travel in such a children compartment because secret services will rate them in categories where is nothing positive to have. This also counts for trained teachers, because secret services are generally NOT intelligent, and when they would be intelligent they would perform better works than only spying people. But these stupid secret services have got the power for spreading rumors everywhere because they have the power over the data reds, over the telephone lines and Internet connections.

Camping is "exciting"
Camping is a new challenge for the whole family, and is very "exciting" for the children because the camping house can be transported. Therefore children are seeing how the family tent is built up.

When the campsite is always the same and when the home is a caravan or trailer, this "event of construction" is omitted respectively the "event of building up" is reduced on a front building.

On a campsite eventually activities and plays are possible which are nor possible at home, and therefore such a campsite always is an attractive location for children, not to mention the fresh air, and when the campsite is near a lake here are also possibilities for swimming and paddling etc. In Estaveyer in Switzerland at Lake of Neuchatel even a water ski lift is installed.

Children without holiday locations need occupation at their domicile

Children never changing the location during their holidays living in town during their holidays where they are also living during their school times have less comparing possibilities in life and are intellectually less developed compared to the children with holiday stays in other regions of the world. Children always staying in the same place are developing a certain "boredom" sometimes, and it can be that there is criminal property damage "by boredom". Certain social programs - for example in Basel - are trying to occupy the children during holidays when they stay in town, provoking new interest and new curiosity for the affected children.

These courses are also a violence prevention because the children will get to know new adult teaching persons, and the children will get to know also other children, and all this is supporting the safety of everybody's life. The precondition for this process is simply that the parents will allow these courses and are not prohibiting the courses when they are not from the school, as it's often the case with Muslim parents. Extremist Muslim parents are even prohibiting the public bath to their children, a catastrophe.

Eventually there will also be talks about the families with indications about violence, and then the authorities can help reducing the violence in families and supporting the intelligence of the parents at the same time.

Really important for the children who are not going to holidays are children's libraries and youth libraries where the children and youths can meet and where children and youths can find their reading material, above all in the case of bad weather. And also play libraries are important for lending games. Some families are also lending games mutually.

For youths staying at the same location during holidays the youth center will be very important for an exchange of experience, for "conquering" new perspectives, and many youths can tell how is life in an apprenticeship and report from their first working experience etc.
