6d. Exercises to heal the carpal tunnel syndrome

Massage

Principle 1: Exercises with tensions and pressure provoke that stem cells come for reconstructing new cartilage.

Principle 2: For having an effect an exercise has to last at least 3 minutes and there has to be a "tearing" effect.

Principle 3: The massage ball should be soft, should give in a little bit hindering aches with bones. Wooden balls or similar hard things must not be taken for this.

Principle 4: Perform exercises slowly mm by mm: The fluid must be forced through tiny openings, and that's why all exercises have to be performed really slowly.

Principle 5: Pain levels: "8 means: It starts to hurt significantly (12min.19sec.). 9.9 means: It hurts even more (12min.24sec.), but not so much that calm breathing would be stopped, so the pain is not connected yet (12min.30sec.). Once docking with the pain, it's 10, then one has to reduce the tension a bit."

On the inside of the forearm the wrist there is a ribbon where the nerves pass. When this ribbon becomes too tight, the nerves cannot transmit the signals right provoking false feelings, misperceptions, tingling, etc. (1min.22sec.). When people are performing unilateral works like typing or playing the piano etc., then the hands are bent only in the same and same way so the connective tissue is shortened, and this provokes more and more tension up to a swelling of the tendons (2min.10sec.), then all the forearm becomes thicker, and when this becomes too thick the room before the wrist becomes too small (2min.15sec.). Thus one has to normalize the forearm (2min.27sec.). The tendons and muscles are swollen and need to be normalized with massage and exercises (2min.47sec.).

Massage 1: Massage the forearm inside with the small massage ball

Well, this exercise can also be performed on a table, but there is no table here at the moment, thus we make this on the ground (3min.20sec.). Thenar and ribbon zone are put on a little gymnastic ball and are massaged always slowly and in circles, thus the accumulated fluids in the inner of the wrist are pressed away. When the gymnastic ball is soft so one can provoke more tension putting the other hand on the first one. When the ball is hard like a wooden ball one has to be more careful (3min.57sek.).

In this way the matting is reduced, cm by cm (4min.15sec.). When sensitive points are found the ball can remain there a little wile and one can notice that the sensitivity is reducing because the matting are reduced and dissolved when the fluids are exchanged (4min.39sec.). The receptors are switching and the whole thing is relaxing etc. (4min.44sec.). All in all the area of the thenar to the middle of the forearm is massaged, with slow circles and spirals (5min.0sec.).

The hand with the carpal tunnel syndrome is unrolled on the small massage roller. Increased pressure is possible when one hand is on the other one (6min.0sec.).

So all residues are pushed out of the ribbon zone (6min.56sec.). The massage continues in the direction of the elbow and then passes the elbow. Of course this is much easier at the table (8min.10sec.).

Massage 3: massage the outside of the forearm on the small massage roller

Massage 3: The back of the forearm is massaged, starting with the back of the hand on the small massage roller, the other hand puts pressure on it and it goes "mm by mm forward" (8min.30sec.). The fluid must be forced through tiny openings, and therefore the exercises must be really slow (8min.56sec.).

During the massage, the tingling sensation in the finger may increase slightly. This is not bad, because afterwards the relaxation comes and the nerve will be freer than before (9min.31sec.). The liquid is "pushed forward", "so that it goes out" (10min.17sec.).

Exercise: Stretching of the inside of the arm with a twisted arm by 180 degrees

The arm is twisted 180 degrees and the hand is placed in a twisted position with the fingers pointing to the knees (10min.57sec.). The thumb stays next to the fingers and does not spread (11min.10sec.).

The stretching of the inside of the arm can be strengthened by moving the upper body backwards (11min.21sec.). In this way, the entire inside of the forearm is distended (11min.37sec.). The ribbon is now quite narrow, but at the same time the whole thing is stretched to length (11min.55sec.). Very slowly, the tension is increased by moving the upper body mm backwards for mm (12min.8sec.).
The pain levels: "8 means: It starts to hurt significantly (12min.19sec.). 9.9 means: It hurts even more (12min.24sec.), but not so much that calm breathing would be stopped, so the pain is not connected yet (12min.30sec.). Once docking with the pain, it's 10, then one has to reduce the tension a bit." (12min.36sek.)
After the stretching exercise, everything is relaxed and relieved, "total freedom is reinstalled" and surgery operations ARE NOT NEEDED (14min.34sec.). Slowly get out of the exercise and normalize the hand with normal hand movements (14min.47sec.), hat can hurt a little, then shake the hand (14min.54sec.).
