6b. Exercises against snapping finger

Schnappfinger: Dehnung der
                    Innenseite des betroffenen Fingers bei gestrecktem
                    Arm
Snapping finger: stretching of the inside of the affected finger with the arm extended


Principle 1: Exercises with tensions and pressure provoke that stem cells come for reconstructing new cartilage.

Principle 2: For having an effect an exercise has to last at least 3 minutes and there has to be a "tearing" effect.

Principle 3: The massage ball should be soft, should give in a little bit hindering aches with bones. Wooden balls or similar hard things must not be taken for this.

Snapping fingers remain "hanging" when opening the hand and only open afterwards with a snap action. Snapping fingers have a tension in the guidance of the tendon, which can be loosened (32min.).

Exercise 1: Stretching the inside of the snapping finger when the arm is extended (1min.30sec.).

Exercise 2: Stretch the arm with the snapping finger and make a fist (1min.58sec.).

Snapping finger: Stretching the outside of the fist with the arm extended

This is done 1 to 2 times a day (2min.1sec.). The healing of the snapping finger can come within 1 day already, within some days, or sometimes weeks are needed and the healing process is coming only slowly (2min.14sec.).
