6a. Exercises against pain in the fingers (finger pain)

Übung 1 gegen Fingerschmerzen am Tisch: Der
                  Arm ist um 180 Grad verdreht, die Hand ist rückwärts
                  aufgelegt und der Finger mit Schmerzen wird noch
                  angehoben

Principle 1: Exercises with tensions and pressure provoke that stem cells come for reconstructing new cartilage.

Principle 2: For having an effect an exercise has to last at least 3 minutes and there has to be a "tearing" effect.

Principle 3: The massage ball should be soft, should give in a little bit hindering aches with bones. Wooden balls or similar hard things must not be taken for this.

The muscles for the fingers all start at the elbow and extend over the whole forearm (1min.20sec.).

Elbow massage where the finger nerves begin

One can start with the small massage ball and massage the outside of the elbow [where the finger nerves begin] (1min.56sec.). Always make small spiral movements, "search" the entire elbow (3min.19sec.). Then the inner side of the elbow is "searched" with the small ball and massaged with spiral movements (3min.47sec.). Wherever it is sensitive, the ball rests for a wile with spiraling movements, and always move very slowly (4min.29sec.). Deposits are "dumped" (5min.45sec.).

Stretching exercises for the fingers on the table with the twisted arm to attract stem cells to build new cartilage

As a next exercise, the patient stands at the table, leaning on the hand where the aching finger is, turning the hand 180 degrees, causing a stretch in the arm, and with the other hand, the hurting finger also becomes raised (7min.17sec.).

Due to the tension and pressure, stem cells are attracted to rebuild cartilage (7min.48sec.). The finger becomes "white" because the circulation is limited by the tension (8min.51sec.). Always breathe in and exhale deeply (9min.24sec.). In the end, straighten up and loosen your hand, "knead" the fingers, etc. (9min.45sec.).

Exercise 2 against finger pain with the fist on the table

The next exercise is the counter-movement: The hand makes a fist and vice versa with the outside of the hand down on the table (10min.7sec.). The other hand covers the fist (10min.25sec.).

Exercise 3 against finger pain with curled finger

Next the fist is opened on the table and only the aching finger is rolled up with the help of the other hand (11min.20sec.). Breathe actively and "curl" the finger more and more (11min.48sec.). At the end slowly go out of the exercise, during 10 to 15 seconds an "after pain" is possible, loosen the hands and move back to normal, relaxed waving (12min.10sec.).
