Easy playing devices with mental stimulations

Bollard jumping and tire jumping

Jumping is supporting the development of sense of balance and bodily control. Children can play tags for hours, first on stairs, then also on bollards, then also on the tires.
Of course the bollards are also a seating accommodation.

Balancing trunks

Children should learn balancing because in life can also be situations when one has to balance between certani persons or one has to balance "over a rover full of crocodiles". This exercise will help to the soul to be strong in situations when it seems that there is no good person around, for example with criminal mobbing.

Well, it's clear that children like to learn balancing, but for sure they don't want to begin in a height of 50 cm, but
-- first they want to begin with trunks on the ground, and then
-- in a height of 10, then 20 cm.

That's why poles in different heights should exist.

This variation is training all muscles at the same time, and two children at the same time on a wobbling beam can give impulses for chasing each other from the wobbling beam - or as it will be then.

Music on the playground: natural music instruments

Every playground can be equipped with simple music instruments so the children get the experience of song phenomenons of nature

-- with bottles differently filled.

In the 1990s dancing chimes were invented which are installed underground. These floor dancing chimes are very expensive but give the children an important and perhaps the decisive stimulation for developing music activities.

The bottle xylophones can be easily installed on any crossbar one can find. Glass bottles give different sounds according to their fillings.

-- this bottle xylophone is the first lesson in physics (+)
-- unfortunately trees are missing for a natural shadow or half-shade, above all in the hot climate of North Chile (-).

And there also this point: the water in the bottles is vaporizing and every 3 months one has to tune the bottles with water. So, it would be better to find different bottles with different sounds without water fillings, or one makes a combination so only two or three bottles have to be adjusted with a water filling. There are many tricks with these xylophones.

Playground elements supporting sportiness

Little roundabouts

Tiny but fine. These roundabouts are a crazy joy for children from 4 to 10 years. This little roundabout creates situations with a little bit desorder but with a great laughing which are not possible in any other location, above all because the players are a little bit dizzy then and the world is "turning around themselves" then. Such a little roundabout should be installed where groups of children appear, with a supervisor. Also adults can have joy with it.

Trampolines

The springs of a trampoline support the jumps. The developments were only Minitramp Trampolines for a long time, and big trampolines only could be in specialized sports halls. In the 1970s the springs were not covered yet and were a big danger for the jumpers yet.

In the 1990 certain people in "USA" and in Europe were developing free time trampolines with covered spiral springs which could be installed in gardens or play rooms. And then also came the trampoline with a protective net where also ball games could be performed on the trampoline. Then the trampoline was always in the garden harming the view and was confronted to wind and weather. The latest development - therefore - is a weather-resistant and submersible trampoline, without net.

Trampolines with spiral springs are making a cracking noise [web01]. New trampolines with rubber holders do not crack any more. Both kinds of holders - spiral springs and rubber holders - have to be exchanged from time to time.

Climbing in a "climbing forest" is good for learning about forests and enjoying the forest air. But when there was a rain one should wait for 2 days because drying processes in the forests are very slow and trees and ropes in the forest are slippery yet and can cause accidents. So, wait 2 days after a rainfall in a forest. And climbing on firs is dangerous for the clothes by the resins on the bark.

Yes, here "strong men" can climb hand over hand like Tarzan - and when water should be on the ground this should be even better. Really "strong men" will also perform a flip upwards with their legs tearing themselves up on the roof. Fit fit.

Important: Warning from climbing on trees in the forest

Micro climate in the forest can be different. After a rain the trees are not drying fast and climbing in the forest after a rain can be very dangerous.

Climbing on firs is dangerous for the clothes by the resins on the bark.

Also self made cable cars can be dangerous when it's too steep and the breaks are not working.
