Energy without end: Simple river
streaming power plants

Simple
stream power plants
Stream power plants
can be operated with a simple turbine if
the stream always remains the same.
These include the mill wheels, weirs,
reservoirs, river power plants and
smaller stream power plants.

Remarks
River power plants
are working with fresh water, so the
river water is not as corrosive as the
salt water of the seas. That's why the
turbines are less expensive.
In large river power plants (dams), the
fish are blocked. For not blocking the
fish, a fish channel is needed to be built
for their migration movements.
